A process and equipment for charging a mixer (2) or mixing vessel (3) with mixing components (10 and 11), for example a building material mix, provides, above all for filling with at least one pulverulent or dusty component, that the latter is arranged in the charging vessel (4) below heavier and/or larger constituents of at least one other mixing component (10) and is covered by these at the top. For this purpose, the equipment has a first charging vessel (4), in which the outlet (7) of a second charging vessel (5) for the lighter aggregate (10) leads.
