Plough installation

The proposed plough installation according to the invention is used for the underground mining of useful minerals which are mainly deposited in thin seams. The installation contains ploughs 5 which are combined by rigid bars 11 and 12 to form a plough system which can be moved back and forth along the working face by a displacing mechanism which includes a hydraulic cylinder 20, arranged in a fixed position, and a movable group of hydraulic cylinders 22. The hydraulic cylinders 22 of the movable group are arranged along the frame of the installation and are connected one behind the other by joints 23 which are attached to sliding pieces 24 which are displaceable on additional longitudinal guides 25 and 26. This enables the plough system to be moved by a length which corresponds to the total stroke of all piston rods of the hydraulic cylinders. <IMAGE>
