Method of producing continuous bolting for support assemblies, and strut for carrying out the method

The continuous bolting of support arches, for example consisting of channel section, in particular in mining and tunnelling, is effected by means of struts which are supported on the flanks and backs of the support arches and are fastened with hook bolts, reaching behind the support arches, and corresponding nuts. With due regard to good manipulating capacity and while fully absorbing compression and tension, first of all one strut is fastened by means of hook bolts and nuts in a length crossing the distance between two support arches and with recesses partly enclosing the sections of the support arches, and then every following strut overlapping with the preceding strut in the area of a support section is put onto the ends of the hook bolts and is fastened with at least one additional nut.
