The device comprises a bearing chuck (17) which adapts itself to the interior surface of elements to be assembled which rest on four bearing rollers, and a crimping roller (20) comprised of a supporting roller (21), a prebanding roller (23) and a crushing roller (22). The device enables to assemble by vertical crimping simple tubular elements, which may be curved, with revolution symmetry or hollow elements of any shape.
