The invention relates to an attachment device for the electrically-insulating and heat-conducting attachment of electrical components to heat sinks, by means of a connecting element which consists of two metal parts and an insulating plate. This connecting element is designed such that the attachment device conforms to the requirements for so-called reinforced or additional insulation in accordance with VDE Regulation 0700 Part 1.
