The invention relates to materials for medical use and methods for production thereof, and provides a composition in the form of a paste for the treatment of human skin around a stoma. Provided is a paste for protection of skin around stoma including a polymer base, a hydrocolloid and excipients, which comprises polymethylsiloxane (PMS) or PMS mixture as a polymer base and carageenan as a hydrocolloid, with the following components ratio (parts by mass): polymethylsiloxane: 50-80; carageenan: 20-50; excipients: up to 18. Technical results: higher speed of water binding by the paste and better user properties of the paste such as consistence, uniformity of application and force of peeling off of the receptacle sealing ring.
