In the case of a laminated glass windscreen for motor vehicles, the single pane of glass (2) directed towards the passenger compartment has smaller dimensions than the outwardly directed pane of glass (1). The outwardly directed pane of glass (1) is provided along its periphery with a frame-shaped coating (7) of an opaque stoving enamel. On the frame-shaped coating (7), a strand (10) of an adhesive preventing water vapour diffusion is arranged in the space formed by the smaller pane of glass (2), filling this space. This adhesive strand (10) is dimensioned in such a way that it serves for the adhesive bonding to the fastening flange of the bodywork when the windscreen is fitted into the said bodywork. …<IMAGE>… |
