The non-structural wall panel is of a prefabricated filled cavity construction, using horizontally sliding fasteners to fix the head only of the outer leaf (1) which is otherwise connected to the inner leaf (2) by deformable or ductile links (20). Theinner and outer leaves are of concrete reinforced with metal or plastics mesh and the cavity filling (3) is a lightweight insulating material. V-shaped bar (5) anchors a double eyelet (8) link projecting into a recess (12). A cross bar (11) in a permenent cavity forms a hinge pin connecting the projection to a further double eyelet link. The latter link locates a cross bar (15) and pivots into a floor slab (4) end pocket (16) to be secured by wedges (18) and a cementitious pocket-filler.
