The present addition relates to improvements made to the anti-toppling device of the main patent, which consist of a push-button contactor 110 arranged to take the place of a circuit breaker for the engine of the vehicle when the vehicle, in its toppling phase, has started bearing against its arm 102 and when the brace 105 has actuated this contact via its lower end. Means are furthermore provided for locking the arm 102 against its upright 101, using an electromagnet 112 controlled by a rocker contactor 113, the arm being released when the vehicle exceeds a predetermined inclination and when the rocker contactor makes contact. Application to agricultural vehicles and civil engineering works vehicles, to some military vehicles and, more generally, to all movable plant intended to move over steeply sloping and/or highly unstable ground. <IMAGE>
