<p>PURPOSE:To prevent superposed climbing of rod steels by arraying the rod steels on a conveying means by the effect of a magnetic force in the region before a stopper line and holding still the rod steels in the stopper line. CONSTITUTION:Rod steels P are carried by each piece or in a small group in a conveying direction so as to extend transversely by the chain 1a of a transverse conveyor 1 set on a guiding roller 1b. Plural rows of magnet plates 2 are disposed in the region before a liftable stopper S1 and the steels P are strongly pulled by the force of the magnetic force thereof, by which the steels are arrayed in the stable slip-free state and are advanced to the front of the stopper S1. The bar steels are thus gathered to a desired number. The stopper S1 is descended and the similar operation is performed with stopper S2, S3. The rod steel group is further fed by a lifting wheel 7a to the swiveling magnet 10a of a twin-armed swiveling arm 10 and is rotated around a shaft 13, by which the rod steel group is stacked on a piling table 12a.</p> |
