<p>PURPOSE:To change the direction of paper and invert it during the movement of a pair of belts, by pinching the paper between the pair of belts moving in a direction. CONSTITUTION:Paper 1 is inserted through a paper inlet port 13 defined by insertion rollers 101, 201, so that the paper is carried in a first pinching conveyance passage to a direction changing roller 301 as the paper is pinched between an upper and a lower belts being in contact with each other. At the direction changing roller 301, the direction of the paper is altered by 90 deg. and it is inverted. The paper is then moved into a second pinching conveyance passage following the first pinching conveyance passage and defined by rollers 302, 303, 304, 305. After the paper is inverted again, it is separated from the upper belt 11 by a stopper finger 16 located at the separation roller 305 and is also separated from the lower belt 12 by a stopper finger 17. After that, the paper is moved into a paper tray 19 as the direction of the paper is different by 90 deg. from that at the insertion.</p> |
