<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the titled device in size and to hold assuredly a cassette tape by forming a window into which the cassette tape is to be inserted on the front plate of a cassette holder pivotally and freely turnably supported by a mechanism body and formed shorter than the short side of the cassette tape. CONSTITUTION:When the cassette holder 2 is opened and the cassette tape 1 is inserted into the insertion window 2a on the front plate 2b in the arrow A direction, the cassette tape 1 is held by the insertion window 2a and a cassette holding part 2d. When the cassette holder 2 is closed in the arrow B direction, the front plate 2b is slided while being deflected as shown by alternate one-long and two-short lines and the projected part 2c of the cassette holder 2 is engaged with the recessed part 5a of the mechanism body 5 and locked by the mechanism body 5. At that time, the cassette tape 1 is pressed to an upper positioning boss 5e of the mechanism body 5 by a pressing spring 4 and the cassette tape 1 is charged to the mechanism body 5. Thus, the cassette tape recorder can be reduced at its size and the cassette tape can be precisely held.</p> |
