PURPOSE:To reduce a damage due to an eddy current by composing a partition wall of a fluid rotary electric machine of a sealer for preventing the fluid from leaking and a reinforcing unit formed of a metal material for enhancing the thermal and mechanical strength, and arranging the metal reinforcing unit to perpendicularly cross a line of magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:A canned motor 3 and a centrifugal pump 2 are liquidtightly coupled integrally at a radial air gap 6. Fluid is intaken from a pipe P through an air gap 6 formed around a stator 4 and a rotor 4 of the motor 3 into a centrifugal pump 2. A liquidtight cylindrical partition wall 8 is composed on the opposed surfaces of the stator 4 and the rotor 5. The wall 8 is composed of a cylindrical sealer 10 made of a resin material and a reinforcing unit 12 in which an austenite stainless steel wire 11 is wound in a coil shape. The pitch P of the wire 11 is increased larger than the diameter (a) of the wire to form a gap P-a. A line of magnetic force of a rotary magnetic field between a stator core 4 and a rotor core 5 crosses perpendicularly the wire 11. Thus, the liquidtightness is increased, mechanical and thermal strengths are increased, thereby reducing the eddy current loss. |
