PURPOSE:To prevent heat from other body through a heat radiating body from flowing into the titled device and also to prevent troubles due to the temperature rise of a heat generating body from occurring by constituting the title device in such a manner that the tip end of the heat pipe makes contact with a heat radiating body to carry out heat radiation when radiating heat, and the tip end of the heat pipe is separated from the heat radiating body at times other than the time of radiating the heat. CONSTITUTION:The heat pipe 8 of the heat pipe device 3 is made up of a configuration memory alloy, and an operating fluid evaporating part 6 at one end of the heat pipe 8 is constantly in contact with a heat generating body 1, whereas an operating fluid condensating part 7 at its another end is separated from a heat radiating body 2 when the heat pipe 8 is at a low temperature, and makes contact with the heat radiating body 2 only at the time of a high temperature. That is, the heat pipe 8 made up of the shape memory alloy is subjected in advance to a heat treatment so that it elongates at the time of a high temperature and the condensating part 7 comes into contact with the heat generating body 2. For this reason, when the temperature of the heat generating body 1 increases, and the temperature of the heat pipe 8 which is in contact with the heat generating body 1 becomes more than a predetermined temperature, the heat pipe 8 elongates first and the condensating part 7 makes contact with the heat radiating body 2. |
