PURPOSE:To make proper injection timing compensation corresponding to a driving state attainable, by comparing an output signal out of a performance detector, detecting the performance of a selector valve for hydraulic fluid, with a signal based on the driving state, while controlling a driver for driving a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 81 is installed in series interposingly in a circuit connecting a coil 49 of a solenoid 23 to a solenoid actuating driver 77, while an electric current flowing in the coil 49 from each voltage at both ends is detected. And, when a driving pulse waveform is given to the coil 49 from the driver 77, the coil 49 and a fixed core 51, a movable core 53, etc., of the solenoid 23 are all magnetize whereby the curent is going to increase but when a spool 29 gets operating, there produces counter electromotive force in the coil 49 and thereby the current drops a moment at a point of a waveform b' so that as a point c', the actual injection timing is detected, comparing it with a signal corresponding to an engine driving state based on a control unit 71 by a comparator 85. Next, an output signal out of the compartor 85 is given to an injection timing compensator 87 and a driving pulse of the driver 77 is controlled, thus the injection timing is compensated on the basis of errors in a response speed of the solenoid. |
