Drilling machine, in particular a glass-drilling machine, with a driven drilling spindle which can be fed in hydraulically and/or mechanically, is inserted into a drilling-spindle holder and is provided at its workpiece end with a drill and a counterbore surrounding the drill, the drill and the counterbore being axially re-adjustable relative to one another in accordance with the advancing wear of the drill, and the drill being screwed with an adjusting screw connection into a drill holder. An automatic re-adjusting device for the drill is located in the drilling spindle. The re-adjusting device has a mechanical stepping control mechanism, which can be advanced and reset and has a screw guide, and a hydraulic actuating cylinder/piston arrangement for the stepping control mechanism. A hydraulic pressure medium can be fed to the actuating cylinder/piston arrangement via the drilling-spindle holder and a rotary transmission lead-through. A re-adjusting torque which adjusts the drill in its adjusting screw connection can be applied to the drill via the stepping control mechanism. <IMAGE>
