An improved apparatus for recycling asphaltic concrete includes an inclined chute for introducing the composition into an open port into which a burner feeds hot combustive gases. The apparatus provides improved continuous processing by feeding the compositon containing relatively large particle sizes into the open port and recovering the heated composition adjacent to the opposite drum end.
