A mobile supply system is proposed for aviation and space flight, by means of which electrical energy and/or pulsating and oil-free compressed air can be generated. For this purpose, a diesel engine (12) drives a generator (16) and optionally a compressor (14), which is preferably constructed as a radial compressor and whose rotation speed can be varied independently of the rotation speed of the generator (16). At the same time, the air which is to be taken from the compressor (14) can be used as starting air for aircraft and/or for an air conditioning system (92) which is a component of the supply system. <IMAGE>
