<p>PURPOSE:To reduce overhead loss and display a time with a little time delay by utilizing an interval timer for displaying the timer time. CONSTITUTION:The time of a timer 10 is passed through a logical circuit 20 to display the time up to minute digits of a display device 30. At the same time, the interval time set value of the interval timer 40 which counts down at intervals of 10 milliseconds is calculated and set within an error of 10 milliseconds on the basis of a specific expression. The output of the timer 10 is impressed as an interruption signal to the circuit 20 every time the counted value goes down to zero, and the display on the device 30 is corrected according to the time of the timer 10. This operation is repeated as many times as specified and a cumulative error in interval timer set value increase to one second, the interval timer set value is corrected by one second. Consequently, time display operation is performed intermittently to reduce the overhead loss and also make a time display with a little time delay.</p> |
