Differential disconnector of high sensitivity - protects worker from earth currents by use of polarised relay actuated by leakage current

The highly-sensitive differential disconnector, is for protecting a worker from earth currents (shorts to earth) and consists of a chain moving between two positions and cooperating with a transverse arm carrying one or more moving contact supports. The moving contacts are opened and closed under the section of a highly sensitive polarised relay operated by the earth leakage current. The chain consists of a two-pronged lever held at one end to the transverse arm.
