<p>Tube lining appts. has a fixed bedplate having a level adjustable roller set, a cradle oscillatable on the bedplate and carrying a centering head arranged to receive either end of an expansible sheath and a number of self centering bearings for a tube. An adjusting device acts between the bearings and sheath to align their axes. In addn. an actuating device adjusts the level of the roller set controls the oscillation of the cradle and the action of the bearings so that a tube may be inserted over the sheath on the rollers centred on the bearings and latched between the centering head on one side and on a sealing ring on the other side, the cradle being tiltable upwards to permit the introduction of coating material into the gap between the sheath and tube.
