In a device for connecting two extruded profiles, preferably consisting of light alloy, the connecting arms can be inserted into the extruded profile which passes through only from the end of said extruded profile which passes through. Furthermore, when the connecting arms are firmly clamped in the longitudinal groove of the extruded profile which passes through, with the screws being excessively tightened, the extruded profile which is to be connected suffers deformation. These disadvantages are prevented in that a connecting arm, which is in each case produced for this specific task, forms a hook at the front end by means of which it engages behind one of the profile webs which are directed towards one another on both sides of the longitudinal slot on the extruded profile passing through, and in that the connecting arms are connected to one another by means of an anchoring pin which rests with its ends in recesses which are located on the circumference of the connecting arms, passing through a drilled hole which is arranged at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the extruded profile which is to be connected, and on which the screws engage which are screwed into the connecting arms from the rear ends of them.
