The invention relates to a new form of sailboard mast. The mast is a mast with a groove which can be used with a sail with a hoist rope which threads into the groove, eliminating the sleeve for the sails which is currently used, thus rendering the mast visible and making possible: - the height adjustment of the wishbone on a slide; - changing the sail without removing the wishbone; - adjustment and hoisting of the sail, even during sailing; - lastly, to obtain better sail efficiency. o
