The doors hang on brackets and rollers supported by a rail above the doors. The outer vertical edges of the doors are thicker than the central panels, and when the doors are closed, the edges make continuous electrical contact with vertical loaf-springs on both sides, the springs being bonded to the enclosure body. The lower edges of the doors have a central recess containing loaf-springs which make contact with an earthed rail. Inner and outer lintels make contact with the upper door edges via more loaf-springs. The interlocked junction between the doors carries two more loaf springs forced together when a simple lever catch overcomes the spring pressure to force the doors together.
