This method consists in applying, on the inner face of brickwork forming the court or of prefabricated elements, a coating with a composition containing, by weight of dry matter, from 20 to 60 % of cement, from 30 to 70 % of inorganic or organic filler, from 2 to 10 % of zirconium silicate fibres, from 0.2 to 1 % of cement plasticisers, from 1 to 3 % of adhesive and from 0.1 to 0.5 % of a hydrophobic agent, then after drying of this coating, in applying on its free face, for example with a brush or by spraying, a finishing coat formed by a varnish or a synthetic resin, particularly an acrylic or a vinyl one. A coating layer not filled with fibres may be applied firstly on the free face of the base coating before application of the finishing coat.
