This keyholder is of the type comprising a case inside which at least one key 8 can be retracted, and in which each key is firmly attached to a support 18 mounted pivotably in the case, the latter being equipped with a lock 14 acting on each key support in order to ensure the holding of the latter in the retracted position inside the case. According to the invention, each key support 18 and the corresponding lock 14 are associated with means permitting, on the one hand, the immobilisation in rotation of the key in a position outside the case, in the chosen angular position relative to the case, and, on the other hand, the automatic retraction of the key inside the case, during the return movement of the key, before total penetration of the latter inside the case. <IMAGE>
