The subject of the present invention is a holding device for a stake for horticultural use. According to the invention, a device consists essentially of at least one tube 2 intended to house the stake and of a sole plate 3 firmly attached to one of the ends of the said tube at least, the said sole plate having a certain spatial extension in a plane substantially perpendicular to the axis of the said tube at least; the result of this is that, the sole plate being buried in the soil, the weight that the soil exerts on it fixes the assembly of the device and therefore the stake or stakes in a specific position. The device may advantageously be produced from injection-moulded plastic. Applications particularly, but not exclusively, to the growing of plants in pots. <IMAGE>
