Apparatus with sealed enclosure for measuring electric field

The apparatus consists of two hollow hemispherical caps 1, 2 insulated electrically from each other and connected together inside the apparatus through a low impedance. An induced current flows through the impedance when the apparatus is placed in an electric field. An electronic measuring circuit is connected to the said impedance and is housed in the enclosure defined by the two hemispherical caps. A display indicates the values measured by the electronic circuit. The hemispherical caps 1, 2 are assembled together with a sealing member 15. <IMAGE>
