PURPOSE:A natural mineral sugar, obtained by forming a layer of sugar cane molasses, beet molasses or honey alone or a mixture thereof on the outer surface of crystalline glucose grains, rich in minerals, and suitable to fancy. CONSTITUTION:A natural mineral sugar obtained by forming about 10-20wt% layer of sugar cane molasses, beet molasses or honey alone or a mixture thereof on about 80-90wt% crystalline glucose grains. The above-mentioned natural mineral sugar contains only natural mineral in rich and well-balanced content, and has improved flavor. The natural mineral sugar is obtained by heating the sugar cane molasses, beet molasses or honey alone or a mixture thereof at 60- 80 deg.C, mixing the resultant sugar cane molasses, etc. in an adequate amount of anhyrous glucose, reacting them while heating them at the above-mentioned temperature, and sieving the reaction product through a 16-60-mech screen to give a granular state. The resultant natural mineral sugar can be used for sugar or black sugar, and has mineral supply effect. The use of the anhydrous glucose provides the crystalline glucose in the production process and has an advantage of requiring usually no drying step. |
