PURPOSE:To attain ease of identification at seal stamp collation by displaying a registered seal stamp and a seal stamp to be collated on a display device in an overlapped way at the same time, using different display color for both seal stamps and further using different display color for the overlapped part of both seal stamps. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup system is operated and reading and display processing is started by a collation command from a keyboard 17. An output of the image pickup device 4 is digitized by a reading amplifier circuit 5 and an A/D converting circuit 6 and converted into a binary-coded dot pattern the same as the registered seal stamp data. The seal stamp data to be collated stored in a memory circuit 8 is read by a color CRT control circuit 15 while being given to memory circuits 7, 9 and displayed on a color CRT16. The registered seal stamp and the seal stamp to be collated read by the image pickup device 4 are displayed at the same time on the CRT16. Then the display color of the registered seal stamp is red and the green color is used for the display color of the seal stamp to be collated and the yellow color is used for the part on which both the seal stamps are overlapped. Since the display is performed in three colors in this way, the identification of both seal stamps and the identification of the degree of superimposition are conducted easily. |
