PURPOSE:To simplify the operation to prevent failure of copying by inputting longitudinal and transverse lengths of an original paper to be copied to operate ratios of them to longitudinal and transverse lengths of a copy form and setting a smaller ratio as a variable power. CONSTITUTION:The original is placed on an original platen 1 so that its longer and shorter sides are matched to position control lines 5 and 4, and longitudinal and transverse lengths of the original are read by scale lines 3 and 2. An input key 15-2 for the longitudinal length is depressed, and read longitudinal dimensions are inputted with a ten key 12. Similarly, read transverse dimensions are inputted with an input key 15-1 and the ten key 12. The size of the copy form is inputted with a selecting key 16. An incorporated operating part obtains ratios of longitudinal are transverse dimensions of the original to those of the copy form and sets a smaller one of them as the variable power and lights a ready lamp. After confirming lighting of the lamp, the number of copies is designated, and a print switch 11 is depressed. Magnification varying between standard sizes is designated by a key 14. Thus, the operation is simplified to prevent failure of copying. |
