The invention relates to an eraser containing a thermoplastic substance, in particular containing a synthetic binder, filler and/or other synthetic components, and optionally containing further binders, fillers, dyes and/or other additives, where the thermoplastic substance is a polyolefin copolymer, and where the synthetic component is a thermoplastic polyolefin containing included, fully cross-linked, polymerised rubber.
