Heat recovery and desulphurisation plant

The invention relates to a heat recovery plant combined with an exhaust gas scrubbing (desulphurisation) which is connected downstream of oil- or gas-fired boilers and operates with very low external energy input. The plant essentially comprises a special exhaust gas/water/air heat exchanger which is operated in counter-current and produces an intense cooling of the exhaust gases, the exhaust gases being subjected to a thorough exhaust gas purification (scrubbing) as a result of the large undershoot of the dew point.
