A waterproofed construction comprises a substrate having a continuous adherent waterproofing layer, which consists of a plurality of pre- formed, flexible, pressure-sensitive, adhesive waterproofing laminates. The pre-formed laminates are comprised of an upper support layer (a) laminated to a lower layer (6) of a waterproofing, pressure-sensitive, thermoplastic, bituminous adhesive compsn. (a) comprises the first and second layers of flexible sheet material laminated together, of which the first layer has a higher coeff. of linear thermal expansion than the second layer. Thus, the edges of the laminates curl downward towards the said substrate when exposed to an elevated temp.
