A sun visor for vehicles is described, which is equipped with a swivel bearing (6), the swivel bearing (6) consisting of a bearing block (8) and a bearing axle (9) and there being provision for a radially outwardly protruding cam (20) to be arranged at the free end region of a leg (18) of the bearing axle (9), which leg (18) fits into the bearing bore (10) of the bearing block (8), the said cam (20) being supported on the free end of a bushing (11) which is part of the bearing block (8) in such a way that the bearing bore (10) has a radially aligned widened portion which is constructed as a continuous axial groove (14) for the purpose of plugging through the cam (20), and for a run-up slope (16) for the cam (20) to be constructed at least on one side in the junction area between the free end of the bushing (11) and the axial groove (14). <IMAGE>
