In the conventional processes of dry flue-gas purification, to carry out the thermal, chemical and dedusting processes, special apparatuses and devices are used which cause high plant and operating costs. The basis of the invention is to carry out the treatments of the flue gas mentioned in only one apparatus. For this purpose, the falling-stream bag filters are particularly suitable, since they are provided with high-volume dirty-gas chambers 5 for carrying out the bag change, which offer space for the arrangement of additional devices. According to the invention, above the dirty-gas chamber 5 in the design as given in Patent Application P3313544.4, there are provided a vortex reactor 2 having a vortexer 6 for additive admixture and a water injector 7, which introduce the pretreated dirty gas centrally and in a circulating manner into the dirty-gas chamber 5, in which the adsorption processes can advantageously be continued. In the falling stream, the pretreated flue gas flows to the filter bags 11 in the dust chamber 10, on whose surface the dust deposition and a residual absorption by still in part unused additive proceed. Cleaning off the dust from the filter bags 11 is carried out with the aid of a rapid closure flap 31, which is a component of Patent Application P 33099983.9 on a falling-stream filter.
