发明名称 DETECTION OF IRREGULARITY INFORMATION BETWEEN BITS IN PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To simply detect the irregularity information between bits without using a golden white manuscript, in the photoelectric converter of a facsimile or a copier, by forming a white reflective surface to the outer peripheral surface of a paper feed roller. CONSTITUTION:A light source 4 and a cell focus lens 2 are provided to the lower side of a photoelectric converter element array 1 and a paper feed roller 3 is provided under said lens 2 while a white reflective surface 5 is formed to the entire outer peripheral surface of the paper feed roller 3 to constitute a line sensor. A manuscript is fed to a paper feed roller 3 and light is allowed to irradiate the surface of the manuscript from the light source 4 and picture information is photoelectrically converted in a bit unit by the lens 2 and the photoelectric converter element array 1. The reflected light from the white reflective roller 3 is preliminarily subjected to photoelectric conversion before the manuscript is allowed to enter the roller 3 and the irregularity information between bits is detected and inputted to a correction circuit. Then, the photoelectrically converted value of the manuscript is corrected on the basis of the photoelectrically converted value of the white roller. Therefore, the photoelectrically converted value of image information can be detected with high accuracy.
