PURPOSE:To prevent flickering of elapsed time display of program reproduction and tentative increase in a display time by applying only once an extracted data of an extracting means to a storage means at the reproducing operating period at the fast rewiding mode. CONSTITUTION:A pickup 2 reads program information from a recording disc 1 at the reproduction period of the fast rewinding and fast feed mode and an address data is extracted by an extracting circuit 3. A controller 8 discriminates the first data when the extracted address data reaches the reproduction operating period. The first extracted address data turns on a switch 9 and the address data is fed to a storage circuit 4 and stored via the switch 9. Further, when the data is a new address data, the switch 9 is turned off by stopping the supply to the storage circuit 4. Since any one of the address data representing the program reproducing elapsed time is displayed, the flickering of the program reproduction elapsed time display and tentative increase of display time at the fast rewinding mode are prevented. |
