PURPOSE:To prevent a data to a recording area at the outside of a write object by providing a mode signal switching circuit inputting a write mode signal only to a magnetic head corresponding to a magnetic head circuit inputting a magnetic head circuit selecting siganl switchingly. CONSTITUTION:A head selection signal circuit 7 inputs a magnetic head selecting signal selecting any of four magnetic heads 2 to each of three magnetic head circuits 5 based on a signal from a high-order device. A circuit selection switching circuit 8 inputs a magnetic head circuit selection signal only to one of three magnetic head circuits 5 based on the signal from a high-order device. A write mode signal generated by a mode signal generating circuit 9 is fed to a magnetic head 2 only corresponding to the magnetic head circuit 5 from the circuit selection switching circuit 8. Thus, even if a magnetic head selection signal is inputted to the magnetic head circuit indenpendently of data write, the data write is prevented. |
