The exercise football (drawing Fig. 1 and 2) can be played by one or more players by shooting a ball at a goal wall or at two goals. The ball (1) can, according to the invention, move only in a restricted space because it is fixed to a cord (2) which is attached by means of a ring on a connecting rod (5) which is arranged between two mountings (4). The space for the movement of the ball, which can be selected by the players, is defined in the longitudinal direction by the length of the connecting device (5), and widthwise by the length of the cord. The game permits active sporting exercise in a minimum space, without soiling walls or damaging windows or neighbouring facilities. When shooting the ball and preventing a shot at goal, the whole human body is in motion. According to the invention, with a suitable design of the connecting device and mountings, other ball games can also be played in minimum spaces or on minimum surfaces, even on board ship. <IMAGE>
