The invention aims to produce a so-called ''recovered'' periodic signal from a disturbed signal which is periodic on transmission, by locking the frequency of the recovered signal, initially at a nominal value, to a value close to the frequency of the transmitted signal. For this purpose, a device for recovering a periodic signal SL, having a substantially predetermined period, from a disturbed incoming signal SR having approximately the said predetermined period, comprising, within a phase-locking loop, means 1 for comparing the phase of the disturbed signal and of the recovered signal and voltage-controlled oscillating means 4 generating the recovered signal, is characterised in that it comprises means 3 of modifying the control voltage for the oscillating means 4 as a function of a comparison result established by the means of phase comparison 1 every N periods of the recovered signal SL, where N is an integer. The recovery of the periodic signal can be performed by synchronisation either in frequency or in phase. <IMAGE>
