PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of vehicle drive unit capable of continuously writing data which is frequently written without setting a new storing area on a non-volatile memory in which writing frequency is preset.SOLUTION: In a series of count processing, when the recorded number of times reaches the number of update times which is preset based on the number of writing available times, which is preset in a DF memory 12, when a power OFF operation of a vehicle is made during executing a series of data writing processing, a CPU 11 updates a first piece of data in a second area including a part in which a piece of second data is stored in the second area. When determining that a failure has occurred in a series of failure determination processing, the CPU 11 updates a first area including a part which stores the first data in the first area with the second data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
