<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate operation and reduce misoperation by generating an initial setting signal when an initial setting state is entered, sending this signal to an adding device, and setting the adding device initially. CONSTITUTION:The initial setting signal S-INIT is outputted from a copying machine control part 51 is four cases, i.e. right after the copying machine is powered on (1), when the copying machine and a sorter are not used for about 30sec (2), when the copying machine is in a power saving state (3), and when the copying chine is off (4). The signal is a pulse signal which is on for about 100ms at the time of (1) and (2). Further, the signal is a level signal held on at the time of (3) and (4). The signal S-INIT is sent to a sorter control part 56, which initialize the sorter when receiving the pulse signal or places it in a power saving state when receiving the level signal. Those two functions are apparently different, but realized under single control.</p> |
