The rear suspension system comprises a rear fork member having a front end pivotably connected to the body frame and a rear end which rotatably supports the rear wheel. An elastic band member is stretched between the rear fork member and the body frame. With this arrangement, comfort is ensured, while at the same time the weight is reduced. The brackets (23) are set between the brackets (22) and the rear fork.
