<p>This device is of the type comprising a main fluid-circulation circuit (2), and a secondary branch circuit (5) inside which is mounted a float (9) which can move in the direction in which the fluid flows. According to the invention, the float (9) is mounted so as to be free in translational motion between two stable extreme positions corresponding, on the one hand, to the absence of circulation or to a insufficient circulation of the fluid and, on the other hand, to a normal flow of the fluid, an indicator (13) being provided which detects the presence of the float (9) in one of its extreme positions.
