Electrical push-button switch

An electrical push-button switch having a cylindrical housing which holds a base containing a pair of mutually associated contact pieces, and having a push button which is guided in the cylindrical housing and in each case contains a contact spring for each pair of contact pieces. The technical problem is to design a push-button switch of the said type in such a manner that showerproofing is ensured with a largely integrated construction which is convenient for assembly, and in such a manner that the switch can be constructed both as a normally-closed switch and as a normally-open switch, with the same basic construction. The base (9) is constructed integrally as a core part of the housing (1) and has an inner chamber (10) on whose two sides the contact pieces (12) are arranged in holders (11), and in such a manner that each contact spring (2) has expanding limbs (30) which rest on the contact pieces (12) in one switch position and are separated from the contact pieces in the other switch position. <IMAGE>
