PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory field of view witout seeing through a transparent plate and to aim at simplifying an air blow-up type windshield device with no necessity of a blurr preventing means, by arranging blow-up slits such that they are directed being inclined forward and upward from below the front section of a windshield member. CONSTITUTION:A windshield device comprises a pressure-receiving deflector plates 2, 2', blade plates 3, 3', and blocking arm plates 4, 4', 4'', having air inlet ports 5, 5' opened in the lower section thereof and air blow-up slits 6, 6' opened in the upper section. A box-like air compression duct 1 having an L-like sectioned inclined forward and upward in the travelling direction. A relative stream which is obtaned upon running are introduced from the air inlet poets 5, 5' provided therein with the deflector plates 2, 2', and the inlet ir is rammed and compressed in the duct 1 with the use of the dynamic pressure of the relative stream. The thus obtained compressed air is blown out from the slits 6, 6' in the form of an air-curtain forward and upward. |
