PURPOSE:To print the same pattern, in which registers coincide on the surface and the back, on both surfaces of a material to be printed by transferring ink to a first blanket cylinder from one flat fixed plate and to a second blanket cylinder from one flat fixed plate and to a second blanket cylinder in succession according to patterns for the plates, separating the two blanket cylinders and turning the blanket cylinders while holding the material to be printed. CONSTITUTION:A carriage frame 7 is reciprocated to the right and the left, and sufficient ink is piled up on a plate 4. Ink on the plate is transferred onto blanket cylinders 8, 9 according to a pattern for the plate. The blanket cylinder 9 is drawn apart from the blanket cylinder 8 only by a section corresponding to the thickness of a material to be printed 25 or quantity through which sufficient printing pressure is generated on both surfaces of the material to be printed 25. The nose of the material to be printed 25 is gripped to a pawl base 15 for a carrying means 16 by a pawl 14 automatically or manually. The carriage frame 7 is moved in the right direction, the material to be printed 25 is passed between the turning blanket cylinders 8, 9 by the carrying means 16, and ink is dried and solidified by an ultraviolet-ray irradiator 26 as occasion demands, thus completing the printing of the same pattern, in which registers perfectly coincide on the surface and back of the material to be printed 25, on both surfaces of the material 25. |
