PROTECTIVE WALL OF BLAST FURNACE BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To operate stably for a long period by holding between and supporting the furnace wall brick of a stave body at the inner side surface with plural supports for supporting bricks which are constituted of a part of the stave body. CONSTITUTION:Plural recessed parts 1c are formed vertically at regular intervals on the side surface of a stave body 1 in the furnace, and a refractory 2 is cast unitedly into the recessed part 1c. Besides, a support 1a for supporting bricks whose length is shorter than the thickness of a furnace wall brick 5 at the inner side surface is provided to the stave body 1 from the upper and the lower end of a protruded part 1b adjacent to the recessed part 1c to retain the furnace wall brick 5. Meanwhile, a steel material 3 for forming a refrigerant passage is provided in the same way as the conventional stave, and said mechanisms are integrally cast when the stave body is cast.
