PURPOSE:To decide the position of sheets precisely while the high speed printing, by setting a driving roller on whose circumferential surface high-low convex parts are formed. CONSTITUTION:When a driving roller 18 rotates in the direction of A as shown as an arrow, lower convex parts 24 of high-low convex parts 23, 24 arranged alternately on the circumferential surface of this roller 18, contact with a sheet 9, decide the position of this sheet 9 along the radial direction, and load and support this sheet 9 from below according as a pressure roller (pinch roller) 10 pushes the sheet 9. Moreover, higher convex parts 23 grip the said sheet 9, form concaved parts 36 on this sheet 9, decide the position of this sheet 9, and at the same time, this sheet 9 is conveyed to the desired direction by engaging the concaved parts 36 of the sheet 9 and the convex parts 23 of the roller 18 with each other. |
